   Our lives before, during, after and in God’s House/flat

Im Winter 2009/2010 hat Gott uns die Sehnsucht nach God’s house ins Herz gelegt. Und so hat uns Gott dieses “Haus” in unseren Gebeten beschrieben: God’ s house ist ein Ort, an dem Menschen Gott suchen und finden können- unabhängig von ihrer Konfession. God’s house ist somit ein Treffpunkt verschiedener Menschen, verschiedener Hintergründe und Gemeinden, die eine große Gemeinsamkeit haben: Die Suche nach Gott. Es ist ein ruhiger Ort, an dem man Gottes Stimme hören kann um Klarheit, Erholung und Antworten zu finden.

Das Wichtigste in God’s house ist das durch den Heiligen Geist geleitete Gebet durch das wir Gottes Willen erkennen wollen.

God’s house ist ein Ort…des Gebets, der gemeinsamen Bibelstunden, Lobpreisabende und der internationalen Zusammenarbeit mit Gemeinden und Missionaren/ Missionsorganisationen. God’s house möchte im Gebet  für Kranke, Gefangene und Verfolgte einstehen.

Das Fundament von God’s house haben wir durch Gott  in God’s flat begonnen zu legen: Wir haben eine Wohnung im Herzen Würzburgs angemietet und öffnen diese für verschiedene Gebetstreffen. Nach nur 1 Jahr Gebet hat uns Gott in diese Wohnung/Stadt gestellt und wir warten gespannt auf den nächsten Schritt: unsere Umzug in God’s house.

Unser Blog soll die einzelnen Schritte, die Gott bisher mit uns gegangen ist festhalten. Ihr findet hier die Geschichte, die Gott mit uns schreibt aus 2 Perspektiven, in 2 verschiedenen Sprachen  und in 2 verschiedenen Versionen. Die Beiträge sind nach Aktualität geordnet. Wer die Geschichte von Anfang an lesen möchte muss also “am Ende” beginnen.

In the Winter of 2009/2010 God placed in our heart’s the desire for “God’s House”. He described it to us in our prayers quite simply: God’s House is a place in which those seeking God would find Him. God’s House was to be a meeting place where people regardless of background, church association and daily life could come together to seek after our great God! It was to be a quiet place to hear the voice of the Lord with clarity to rest in His presence and find answers to besetting questions.

One of the most important factors in God’s House, is that of Spirit led prayer with the aim of knowing and furthermore, doing the will of God.

God’s house is a house of prayer, Bible study, worship and working together with international churches, missionaries and missions organizations, taking seriously the call to pray for the sick, the imprisoned and persecuted across the world.

At the moment, God is laying the foundations with “God’s Flat” We currently rent an apartment in the heart of Wurzburg in which are held weekly and monthly prayer meetings. We are now waiting expectantly for the next step towards God’s House, and the ultimate dream of being open 24/7 for prayer!

This Blog is the relation of a story of many small steps and a few big ones in the journey to God’s House. It is a story told from two different perspectives, two different languages and two different versions. Enjoy!
